L'enlèvement d'Emilie est une comédie musicale, court métrage de 15 minutes, filmée en DV. Elle a été écrite et réalisée par Mathieu Thibaut et Mathilde Decaux. Le film est entièrement réalisé à l'aide de carton, de scotch double face, de feutrine et de baguettes en bois. Beaucoup de colle à tissus et de boîtes de conserve ont aussi été utilisées. Les caméras ont été prêtées par Sylvain et par Stéphane, les musiques ont entièrement été arrangées et jouées par Guillaume (qui a aussi beaucoup manipulé les marionnettes pour nous aider). Les autres manipulations sont faites avec l'aide de Thierry, Judith et Stéphane quand ils pouvaient passer ; Marion est venue une fois, et Marie aussi, mais elle ne nous a pas aidé. Les scènes de pieds ont été jouées et chorégraphiées par Jessica. Les voix des personnages sont jouées par Mathilde, Mathieu, Loraine et Guillaume.

Ce film est un hommage aux show des années 80, aux fonds bleus bon marché, aux Muppet Show et aux comédies musicales de Jacques Demy. Il se tient à mi-chemin entre le théâtre de marionnettes et l'illustration, il combine les trucages à 2 balles, les chansons faciles à retenir à une histoire qui fait réfléchir sur l'Amour et surtout l'amour de l'Italie.

Mathilde, Mathieu and Emilie live a peaceful life in the swamps. While they are preparing a party for the anniversary of the day they met, Emilie is kidnapped in one of the stores inside the shopping center. Her kidnapper is no less than the head of the Italian Mafia. Hang in there, Emilie ! Mathilde and Mathieu are coming to the rescue !

"L'enlèvement d'Emilie" is a 15 minutes musical filmed in DV. It was written by Mathieu Thibaut and Mathilde Decaux. This film is made exclusively of cardboard, double-sided tape, felt and wooden sticks. A lot of fabric adhesive and empty cans have also been used. Sylvain and Stéphane allowed us to borrow their cameras. Guillaume took care of all the musical arrangements and played them too (to help us, he also handled the puppets a lot) Thierry, Judith and Stéphane also acted as puppeteers when they had time ; Marion came once. Marie too, but she didn't help. The feet sequences are played and choregraphed by Jessica. The character's voices are played by Mathilde, Mathieu, Loraine and Guillaume.

This film is a tribute to the 1980s shows, blue screens, the Muppet Show and Jacques Demy's musicals. It is a mixture of puppet theatre and illustration. It combines cheap special effects, catchy songs and a story which makes you think about Love, especially the love of Italy.
